Nice concept for a game. I like the simplicity of it in conjunction with the metroidvanian approach, but the controls just aren't up to snuff here. As soon as you get the double shot the game ceases to be fun and becomes a chore. Like other reviewers have said, this game should use mouse aiming. do that and add a little more polish to the presentation and you'll have a great game.
This was clearly a labor of love. The rewards for trophies were a great idea. The game animates well, the weapons are all fun to use, the primes and set up is wonderfully absurd. My only issue with the game is, as others have said, the weapon prices are way out of whack compared to what you take in for each round.
The basic idea I think is a good one. Take those old 2D physics based truck/bike racing games and stick them into a new objective based game that has next to nothing to do with beating a clock. Problem is that the physics in those old games were way wonky and probably the reason you don't see a lot of them today. This game takes those old games exactly as they were with out attempting to polish them at all and suffers for it. More interesting challenges may have saved this game, but its only mediocre in that regard too. That probably sums this game up pretty well; mediocre.

Beginnings of a good game

Interesting twist on a tired style of game...
...that still feels tired.
