Nice concept for a game. I like the simplicity of it in conjunction with the metroidvanian approach, but the controls just aren't up to snuff here. As soon as you get the double shot the game ceases to be fun and becomes a chore. Like other reviewers have said, this game should use mouse aiming. do that and add a little more polish to the presentation and you'll have a great game.
This was clearly a labor of love. The rewards for trophies were a great idea. The game animates well, the weapons are all fun to use, the primes and set up is wonderfully absurd. My only issue with the game is, as others have said, the weapon prices are way out of whack compared to what you take in for each round.
The basic idea I think is a good one. Take those old 2D physics based truck/bike racing games and stick them into a new objective based game that has next to nothing to do with beating a clock. Problem is that the physics in those old games were way wonky and probably the reason you don't see a lot of them today. This game takes those old games exactly as they were with out attempting to polish them at all and suffers for it. More interesting challenges may have saved this game, but its only mediocre in that regard too. That probably sums this game up pretty well; mediocre.
Nice idea for a game but the first puzzle I ran into was mathematically impossible. The game wanted me to distribute fluid between three containers so that each had a specified amount (a classic puzzle) but the total amount of fluid they wanted in all of the containers came out to be significantly more than the amount of fluid I was given... Not solvable and not a good first impression.
it is mathematically possible and has been solved 100's of thousands of times. Sorry you couldn't figure it out - all puzzles have been played and tested on fwg for months.
Very buggy. All keyboard commands sent the astroid into the top left corner. Mouse movement worked mouse wheel did nothing. Interesting concept, but it's hard to review a game that won't work on my computer.
This is a nice and relaxing game concept, but the exicution is a little off.
For one, the bubbles don't disapear quickly enough. You hear a pop but don't see anything right away. That is frustraiting and goes against the relaxing nature of the game.
Second, the red balls ALWAYS overlap the green, which again is extremely frustrating. Further, hiting one red ball should not be automatic failure. I can understand ending a round after several, but not one. That is simply too 'high stakes' for this kind of relaxation oriented game.
This is a nice little diversion for a few minutes. the first 2 or 3 levels can be tough as you try to scrounge together enough $ to buy things. However, once you buy the gifts (which give you quite a few free meters) early on and then figure out the simple mechanic of bounce, rocket, bounce, rocket the game becomes ludicrously easy.
Nice little game, but it does have a few flaws. Namely, the upgrades can all be easily bought by around lvl 9 or 10, leaving little incentive to continue playing. Also, when I was playing I found that the canon/missile launcher quit working after the first lvl; however, the machine gun was so powerful after a few upgrades that I barely missed it. Lastly, the mines aren't very clearly defined; I had to die and restart twice before I figured out what was going on.
The controls (as many have said) are a bit complicated, but once you get used to them an amazing game opens up to the player. The kind of direct control you have over this creature makes you feel much more like you ARE the character than many games are capable of. There just aren't many experiences out their that can quite compare to the feeling I had after I carefully hung a web, laid in wait for a hapless victim to fall prey to my trap, gingerly plucked him from my web like a ripe piece of fruit, and then eagerly brought to my waiting jaws; every movement completely under my control.
This game is well worth anyones attention. it takes a little patience and effort to acclimate to all the controls and to figure out all of the puzzles (such as finding the button hidden on level 2 to open a fairly well hidden door), but it will all pay off with interest.
Now all I can do is wait at hope for the full game promised in the final credits.

Interesting twist on a tired style of game...
...that still feels tired.

Also theres never been a game like this (except MTM1)
If its so bad, then why don't you make a better one?

Has potential, but not quite there this time.

Enjoyable if easy once you find the trick.

Try translating "leet"
Wait, this thing can't translate the word "leet"? That's quite an oversight.
